The Colliers | Married

Karen + Aaron’s love story is one that leaves you marveling. They both are two of the most selfless people I’ve ever met!   When I photographed them for the first time I had no idea that I would be fortunate enough to tell their love story and capture some of their most tender moments.  Karen + Aaron were first featured behind my lens when they had just started dating almost two years ago!  When I think back on moments like that I am always left humbled and so very grateful.  These two have been such incredible clients, and such sweet friends!
Needless to say their Wedding day reflected them perfectly.   From their Beauty and the Beast inspired details, to their tender intentional moments with those that they loved- the day could not have been more wonderful!  So, without further ado, I’ll let the images do the talking!

Hidden from everyone’s view, Karen got ready with her sweet momma.  It was such a tender time for both of them!Karen wanted to do a number of “first looks” with those that she loved.  Her bridesmaid’s reaction to seeing her for the first time was priceless!These ladies just ooze joy!  Then it was the guys turn…Such studs!Such an incredible group of guys!Karen’s next first look was with her sweet daddy….Aaron’s four best friends have become like brothers to Karen!  So, she wanted a special time with them before the ceremony. Their reaction to her made everyone watching tear up! I LOVE first looks!They covered her in prayer… and then I started crying…Karen and Aaron wanted to wait to see each other until Karen was walking down the aisle- but they still wanted some tender time together before the ceremony!  So they each wrote each other a letter….I love this…. we all looked on and emotion overflowed as Aaron took his bride’s hand and prayed with her!Right before the ceremony, Karen’s bridesmaids prayed with her.  Then, they all took their places.  Karen was left for a few moments by herself, and I caught this moment right before she walked down the aisle …. It finally hit her that she was marrying the man of her dreams….  So so beautiful!When Aaron saw Karen for the first time… Their ceremony was so very intentional, and included a worship service.And then they said ” I Do” and had their FIRST KISS EVER!This bridal party was literally the BEST!How precious are they?! So Stunning!!!Aaron’s sweet siblings!First dances always get me teared up, especially daddy- daughter dances…So fun!Karen + Aaron, you both are such a blessing!  Wishing you the best to come!
