Ever so often I get into these “moods”.
You know the ones.
When you’re extremely overwhelmed due to the fifty (plus) hours you work during the week and the never-ending list of things that need your attention and you really just want to escape for a few hours.
I don’t know why it amazes me so much that when I pray, Jesus not only answers, but delivers.
For a while, my prayer has been that Christ and I would have more time together. I have a daily quiet time, but if i was being completely honest with you, I’d have to admit that lately it hasn’t been as long or intentional as I would like it to be. I need at least a full hour of bible reading and praying to feel “spiritually fed” during my day. I’ve been praying for a place that Christ and I can meet at everyday. A quiet place, with coffee or tea (we both love them ever so much).
A few weeks ago, I stumbled upon this adorable little desserteirie desserterie dessertiere bakery, had my tea, read my bible, journaled, and indulged* a little more than my trainer would have wanted (sorry Jillian). But mainly, I sat in silence and thanked God.
Thank You Jesus, for “our place” and for a glorious morning.
