It amazes me to think back to when this young woman was a little girl. I was a little girl too, back then. In those days we’d stay up late, munching on chips and her momma’s infamous “dip”. We’d talk about our latest love interest & make music videos to Usher’s latest hits. Eleven was such a fun age. Months turned to years as time passed by. Football games, dances, broken hearts & exciting opportunities filled our friendship. There were good times, and there were bad times. We wrestled with picking colleges and deciding what major we wanted to pursue. We prayed for our future husbands and mourned together when boys broke our heart.
Then… one day…. Jordan met Anthony. Her eyes sparkled when she spoke about him, she confessed that she thought he was the one. This man, with his quiet demeanor and spunky charm. His eyes sparkled just like hers, and a smile illuminated his face any time she spoke. There is something so incredible when someone you dearly treasure, finds someone who treasures them like you do. Jordan found that with Anthony and their wedding day was absolutely PERFECT in everyway!
Jordan and Anthony got married at Ashton Creek Vineyards in Chester, Virginia. Every detail from her dress to their reception was absolutely perfect! Jordan married the love of her life in the most beautiful way. Surrounded by friends and family, we all made memories that will last a lifetime! Being a wedding photographer, I was SO honored that my best friend wanted me to be in her wedding more than she wanted me to take pictures of her wedding. She wrestled with that decision for so long (and that in and of itself was SUCH an honor!!!). Thankfully though, she found a sweet photographer from our hometown that she enjoyed and after getting permission from HER, Jordan let me know that she wanted me to photograph a few “behind the scenes” details! So, I did! These are the few captures I was able to take, and I’ll cherish them forever. I cannot WAIT to see the FULL wedding gallery once it’s done!!!

How fun are these cowgirl boots?! Jordan didn’t wear them on her wedding day– but they were the perfect touch at her rehearsal dinner AND her souvenir from her bachelorette party in Nashville!
