Okay okay okay!

I just HAVE to tell you a TEENY TINY bit about what God has been doing in my heart recently!

I mentioned before that Pursuit 31 held a surplus amount of incredible moments for me and my business. It was there that the Lord challenged and encouraged me in countless ways.

One day, I stood talking to a group of photographers when a sweet woman approached me. We began talking and connected instantly. Sometimes things like that happen: you just connect with people and this definitely was one of those times. She introduced herself as Kristin, a photographer, momma, and passion-filled dreamer. Kristin’s heart and my energy high-fived each other as we shared our passions and dreams.
Before long, she was telling me about a ministry she started that was aimed towards young women called Delight. She explained that young women were her passion; specifically young creatives. She loved to inspire them to see their true potential and wanted nothing more than to be a source of real, raw truth, that was relevant to today’s culture and society. Delight was a ministry that reflected that mission and before long, she asked me to pray about partnering with her and her ministry.

Now, sometimes you need to pray about things…..

And sometimes, the Lord says: “Don’t ask me if you should do something that is so obviously from me.”

And as Kristin spoke, thats exactly what the Lord said to me.

I didn’t know what it meant, but I knew that whatever she needed I would say yes.

So…..

When she asked me to partner in prayer for the ministry: I said yes.

When she asked me to be a leader at Delight’s retreats each year: I said yes.

When she asked me be a writer and blogger for Delight: I said yes.

Then, when she asked me to consider flying out to Washington state in January to dream and brainstorm for the direction of the ministry: I said yes.

And, here we are.

I am so thrilled you guys, like seriously.

I am happy to announce that Delight’s **new** blog will be launching NOVEMBER 1st!

Every week I’ll be writing about what it means to Be Confident. We’ll talk about everything from being confident in the story Christ has written for our lives, to fashion, to my mild obsession with bright red lipstick.

Cause let’s be honest- the most attractive thing a woman can put on every morning is confidence in who she is in Christ.
