2013

In January of 2013 I told myself I would start a photography business on one condition: If one year from the start date it wasn’t working I’d end it and move on.

It’s one year later, I’m blogging this, and smiling from ear to ear.

Ohhhhhhh 2013.
You were SO good to me!  I literally cannot believe how quickly this year has flown by!  With today being the LAST day of 2013 I thought it of no better use that to blog about the business aspect of this last year.  It has been incredible, challenging, and completely life changing.  So many wonderful things have been held it’s days and months!

SOOO, a little business & personal recap:

2013 YAYs!

• Moved to Mobile, Alabama!
• STARTED AnnaFilly Photography
• Launched “The FREE Fifteen”
• Shot my FIRST wedding!
• Launched my website
• Fell in love with capturing Wedding Days…. 🙂
• Reached over 800 likes on Facebook (okay, I know this doesn’t sound like a big deal- but it means the world to me.  I’m chasing my dreams and 800 people “like” that?!  WHAT? 🙂
• Connected with countless creatives, photographers, designers & have developed so many incredible friendships- I just LOVE you guys!
• Successfully took 21 hours of school in the Fall semester, and continued pursing photography full time
• Photographed over 100 people professionally…. Over 100 people have experienced AnnaFilly Photography & have physical photographs of themselves!

Coming in  2014 :

• A BRAND NEW BLOG (COMING SOON!)
• High quality, professionally printed, printing options 🙂
• More stories – many of you have contacted me about how you enjoy the stories & writings that come with the photos I capture and I want to get better at telling these stories!
• A camera UPGRADE! (YES YES YES)
• More Weddings- *swoon*
• Drinking more water ( I felt like my mother would appreciate this 😉
• MORE challenges, adventures & excitements… as I write out my personal goals I can’t help but have an excited AND nervous feeling!
• Photographing with a purpose- I want to photograph more intentionally, shooting for THE image, instead of hoping for it!
• Continued GROWTH!  I am so thankful for that !
• More photos… 🙂  There are so many more things that are coming in 2014- but I won’t ruin their surprise quite yet.  Until then, enjoy some of my most favorite moments from 2013!
